New Story

With the new artists in place for my Front and DPS, I will need to update the story based on my new band.

The story i've decided is based on my tagline and features the arrival of a new lead singer following the departure of the old singer.

This is based on other actual happenings such as Lacey Sturm leaving the band Flyleaf and The Farro brothers leaving Paramore

New Front and DPS Subject and DPS Tagline

I've decided to change the artist that will appear on my Front Cover and Double page spread. This will go back to my original idea of a band based on the already-established band Echosmith

The new tagline on my DPS reflects the band I've decided to go with "Sydney: It's Her Band Now" Sydney refering to the lead singer of the group.

I took the idea for this tagline from an F1 Magazine

 

 

Rough Cut DPS

This is the Rough Cut for my Double Page Spread. The main criticisms were mainly to do with the top banner, the image being out of focus, and the article having a font and a colour scheme that was difficult to read.

I plan to rectify all these criticisms, however one suggestion I had was to just make the article a plain black text. I plan to make this neater by changing to a more formal font such as Century Gothic, while still having a more outlandish colour.

Rough Cut Contents

 

This is the contents for my Rough Cut, the main criticisms were drawn to the images and the colour scheme. Of my three documents, I feel this is the one that requires the most work.

One thing that i'm planning to do which will affect all three of my documents will change the colour scheme to Red, WHite and Blue. I plan on retaking the photos on a more professional level at a later time.
